A Ladies Boudoir

There have been so many beautiful posts showing how to make a screen divider card, that I couldn't resist the temptation to join in! Temptation is what this card is all about. It oozes sexiness and mystery. I like the contrast of black and red.

My picture doesn't really do it justice, as it would not fit in my light box, but i think you can get the idea. My thanks once again to the very talented Linda Parker for another superb tutorial on You Tube. Why don't you hop over there now and take a look

If you would like to buy this card, or indeed any other card on my blog, or need cards made for a wedding, party or just someone special, please contact me on 07881 0278000. I also organise classes or parties held in the comfort of your own home, to teach card making and papercraft skills. Alternatively leave a comment below.

Six Sampler meets Blackberry Bliss!

I just carn't leave it alone can I? I think I have fallen in love with Blackberry Bliss(BB).

Part of the attraction and fun of being a Stampin Up demo, is the friendships that have been forged through my demoship. Crafting can be a lonely, insular activity, but as a group we not only support each other, but we can also form friendships, that share a common love.

A fellow demo lent me the set " Six Side Sampler", so that I could experiment and see if it will be added to my own wish list...and the answer is yes!!!

I "created" the card in my mind, when perhaps it should have been on other things, and came home and turned my ideas into reality. The first one suffered a little mishap, but all great artists and creators have to have a protype!!

Everything chocolate!

If you have been following my blog, you will notice a bit of a theme going on (or even more than just one!). When I swap with team members or indeed other demos, I not only like to give them my project, but I like to include a little gift that has nothing to do with Stampin Up...more with our stomachs!

These two projects were inspired by a the very talented demo, Linda Parker and you can find her very easy to follow You Tube video here.

My first box uses the stamp set " I Like You" and Blackberry Bliss ink. Can you spot the multiple themes?

The box was then tied with Blackberry Bliss ribbon, a flower cut with petite petals punch and sponged with Blackberry Bliss ink and finished off with a pearl.

I then decided that it would make a pretty wedding favour. Are you getting married soon? Would you like some favours in your chosen colours? Contact me on 07881027800 or leave me a message in comments section on here.

An experiment with light

I saw this card in my mind whilst at quarterly training. Perhaps i should have been concentrating better on the training...sorry Amanda!!

Came home after training, and sat in my newly tidied craft pit and put this card together. I used " I Like You" stampset and Blackberry Bliss...there's a hugh surprise! So in love with this colour x. Stamped onto vellum cardstock, cut an oval with oval framelet and finished off with white organza ribbon..job done!! Pleased with the clean look and the light shining through aperture.

Have a good day, and happy crafting xxxx

For the love of a blackberry!

Blackberry Bliss. Just love it!! Have I said this before? lol. Its intense, deep and indulgent and was my mother's favourite colour.

I decided to visit an old card I made at Amanda Fowlers card class a long time ago!!! You can visit her website here and see all the lovely things she makes.

I used the " I like You" stampset, which is a hostess set from the new catalogue and can be earnt by having a party. Contact me for further details. I also used the "Apothecary Art" stampset which is a returning item and was one of the first I ever bought, and I still love it! The other colours are: Tangelo Twist, Garden Green and Daffodil Delight. I finished it off with a piece of Hello Honey ribbon.

I made this for Victoria McLafferty to display on her board at her new catalogue launch on Saturday. You can see her on facebook or here, and if you live in Worthing look her up and go to one of her fantastic classes, you won't be disappointed!!

Quarterly Training

As a demo, we have quarterly training meetings where we discuss business topics, swap samples, craft and chat! Its always nice to see other demos, to inspire me and to share ideas. I have made so many new friends through Stampin Up, and for me, that is one of the main reasons for my association with Stampin Up.

There will be 24 demos attending and I like to try to make a swap for everyone. I can remember when i first started, and the kindness shown to me. I have just celebrated my "birthday" and I am now 2!

I have made 20 Lotus flowers from a You Tube video. You can see the video here I used the In Colour 2013-15 DSP stack. I wanted to show a picture of them altogether, but i am afraid it didn't turn out very well.

Each flower holds a Hershey Kiss. Both my swaps are working on the Garfield priniple of slimming..fatten up all your friends, so you appear thin!! They both contain chocolate...yummy

I also made five little handbags as I didn't have many sheets of 12 x 12 cardstock in the new colours. I used Moonlight DSP on them all and the one using Blackberry Bliss cardstock is my favourite.

This idea was also on You Tube and can be found here. I hope that you have enjoyed reading my blog and that the recipients of my swaps also enjoy the fruits of my labour. Hope you get time to craft soon and indulge yourself
